My pittie is an adorable, goofy sweet boy who loves to cuddle

Leap Day by Nitrome. Tapping anywhere on the screen does exactly one thing, jumping. It's a vertical platformer. You run back and forth automatically, turning around whenever you hit an obstacle. 15 stages to a level and there's a new level every day. You can play any of their backlog of levels going back a few years as well. There's some pretty imaginative level design, but if you play for several weeks you start to see a bit of repetition. It normally takes me between 20 and 40 minutes to get through a level.

Another good one is Rider, and its sequel Rider Worlds. Side scroller car obstacle course with a neon/Tron aesthetic. When you're in contact with the ground touching the screen makes you go forward and accelerate. When you're not in contact with the ground, touching the screen makes you rotate. Score points for flipping in the air and collecting gems. There are a series of increasingly difficult challenges as well.

I buy these really cool magnetic charging cables. You put an adapter in the charging phone port and the cable just attaches itself.

The only problem is that they have these bright blue LEDs around the end. And on top of that, the LEDs are coated with silicone so you can't even take a sharpie to them.

Somehow I don't think you're going to get a lot of people willing to take the side of religion on this site.

Woman thought car full of guys was going to say something lewd and juvenile.

Turned out they just wanted to know where she got the bubble tea she was drinking.

The guys had been arguing about where it was. The guy who spoke to her was right, Jared was wrong.

There's this book "Waiting For the Galactic Bus". It's about two immortal, energy based aliens who get stranded on primitive Earth and give a proto-ape an IQ boost, creating the human race. They find that when humans die their consciousness sticks around and has gathered in two "post-life energy pools". The humans in these pools are expecting some version of heaven and hell, so the aliens decide to give them what they want just to keep them happy.

At first the alien running the pool dubbed "below stairs" doesn't understand what the humans are asking for, but the other gives him a copy of Dante's Inferno as an explanation (his response: "These people are sick!") So he gives the humans the scenery and props they want, and makes sure all the exits are clearly marked. They can leave any time they want. But they stay because they insist on having their hell.

This book is one of the most insightful commentaries on human nature I've ever read.

How much does a few cartridges of ink cost?

I bought a Brother laser printer years ago and I'm still on the first full sized toner cartridge (not including the half sized one it came with).

My printer usage got cut drastically when I stopped having in-person D&D games.

I'm torn between "Fuck no!" and "What? Seriously?"

We should be reading them so we can recognize when fascists today are doing the same things.
