I did in my house which was built in the 1950s or 60s and it works. With that said, it was only ok and I wouldn't use this for anything but internet access and some light streaming. This was 10 years ago so it is possible they have gotten better. I have since moved to mesh wifi and it literally solved every issue I had and the whole house has incredible wifi no matter where you are. Plus I use the AP's to plug in my more dedicated stuff since it's faster than wifi to use the backhaul the APs use to communicate with. I do wish I could afford to redo my house and put in ethernet wiring everywhere and have a dedicated switch for everything.
HeyJoe
More shady marketing. The actual price should always be shown up front. The fact that they are showing the most discounted price, which is probably rare to even get, is disingenuous. I guess they are seeing just how much they can get away with before it's shut down.
The real girl looks just like this, except tied up and sitting in the flatbed.
As much as they are pushing to stop 1 time purchases of office, they do still offer it. I purchased a license for like $20 off a discount site for Office 2021, and i have no clue why people need a subscription plan for this. It would take some very specific needs for that to ever be needed and I'm sure a huge percentage would be just fine with the 1 time purchase that lasts 3-4 years of support.
As for businesses that part stinks... once you get integrated with all the services offered, it's going to take a lot to back out since it's not just office they are probably subscribed to but everything else that enterprise has to offer. They are absolutely banking on people to suck it up and accept the position they are in and give in. It's awful, but at the same time if your business went all in and didn't anticipate this then they didn't do their job if you ask me when vetting everything. This feels similar to the recent buyout of VMware and are now pushing insane new license costs. The problem is they went to high where despite the effort it will take to change products people have to. We can only hope Microsoft is on the edge of crossing that line.
Maybe this is a stupid question, but I honestly have no clue. If they "purchase" a country who can even make that deal and who is receiving the money?
To bad they didn't hear about Loops. I don't use this stuff so I have no idea if it's good or not, but it's not Chinese or collecting your data so it would be worth a try. Although if 400k users flooded it I have serious doubts they could scale to meet a demand like that.
While this is true, I feel this way about every one of them. People watch it?
Thanks! I like it a lot.
Thanks for the update! So in reality, this boils down to not enough bribes, and US competitors (fb, Twitter, etc) most likely encouraging officials more than it has to do with national security.
That's what I said. Really though, that is basically what all consoles are. They just used to get really dramatic upgrades because the period of time they released have been big growth periods. These days? Everyone has conformed to the same thing and given up on proprietary stuff. Then I thought about how this really is odd for Nintendo since they genuinely strive to offer something unique and new each time. Then I realized it's also called switch 2 so I don't feel like they did anything wrong since what did I expect to change when they are literally telling you what it is which is pretty much defined already.
In the end, I think it's a smart move. It's the least disruptive path and probably the cheapest route for them to continue on and as long as the thing is really powerful I think it's a good idea to continue the brand for another 5 years. I do have my doubts that it will be powerful so that we'll just have to wait and see. Nintendo has never been big on offering up the most powerful hardware, so I expect it to be a few years behind already.
That is correct. This only started when Trump was last in office, and he fully supported it. I wish the rest of this country wasn't fooled so easily by crap like this...
Probably because they weren't ready and slapped this together as a way to stop the mountain of rumors and to hold people off until the actual reveal. Dammed if you do dammed if you don't.
