I think Way of Kings is Brandon Sandersons best book, so I'd push for the stormlight archive.
Or, era 2 of mistborn is good.
Elantris the first book in the cosmere and it's good but it's not as good as stormlight.
I like most of the cosmere books but in my opinion stormlight and mistborn have more to do with each other then the rest.
I'm reading it right now and yeah, it does some shit with format I've never seen before.

Loved primer. You could have whole episodes of them messing with each other with time travel during the power struggle.
Out Cold. It's a dumb snowboarding comedy movie, but I think it's dumb in a really funny way. It only has an 8% on rotten tomatoes but I think thats way incorrect.
If you go in expecting stupid humor it's actually got a lot of funny lines and moments.
my advice is stack attack cards in act 1, while specializing for specific bosses. while that's going on, pay attention to relics or cards that might support a build/theme. the rest of the game, try to refine that theme to make it happen as reliably as possible.
also, speed is better then building up towards massive strength.
