Additionally you can make the homepage start at "subscribed" via the settings. Otherwise it switches back every time

Oi this seems interesting. Honestly I think I would've preferred an open world game in this setting with character customization rather than a fixed protagonist, but I'm nevertheless curious about this one.

I love this, but I always kinda miss out on really liking these Downfall subtitle swaps. My German isn't perfect, but I get enough of the actual spoken dialog that it distracts me from the subtitles. It's probably way funnier when you don't understand what they're saying.

Still, it can't be too different from what's happening in the Reddit HQ. At least I hope so

The instance system definitely makes it a bit confusing. I'm a programmer and I've played around with some Mastodon stuff during my study. Still, as a user, it's quite chaotic sometimes.

I'm kinda wondering what this will converge towards. Is everyone going to join the same instance? Are different communities be kinda randomly spread over instances, where for every community in the end one instance dominates? Or will there just be chaos?

There's also some buggy behavior every now and then, but that's easily forgiven imo.

Hopelijk kunnen we binnen de Lemmy fediverse ergens weer een community krijgen zoals /r/thenetherlands op Reddit. Dat gaat oprecht een van de meest gemiste subreddits zijn nu Reddit z'n eigen graf graaft. Overigens valt het me op dat deze community momenteel alleen Nederlandstalig is. Het is nu nog klein, maar mocht het verder groeien dan is het misschien wel een idee om ook Engelstalige posts & comments expliciet toe te staan. Het kan best handig zijn voor internationale studenten etc om vragen te stellen en gesprekken te joinen
