Ah yes, the Sims 3, a famous shooting game /s. But seriously, are there guns in the sims 3?
I think the problem is moreso (as far as I've heard) that the owners of the lemmy.ml instance overlap with the owners of lemmygrad, which is basically the table/authoritarian commie instance. There have been some rumours about posts and comments being deleted for being critical of China/Russia. How much of that is true, I don't know,l. What I have noticed is that there is a higher percentage of tankies on Lemmy, but they're still usually down voted when they say dumb stuff.
Last year I planned to buy the F1 title, but ultimately skipped it because I wasn't exactly convinced that it was worth the money. Reading this, I'm not exactly convinced to buy it this year either. Guess I'll enjoy myself with going sbinalla in Assetto Corsa with the Race Sim Studio F1-like cars instead.
I wiped my accounts (12 years of posts/comments) and deleted all alt accounts, but I kept my main alive (but wiped) mostly so I can keep a pulse on the subs I'm following and the state of Reddit. I've noticed that some subs needed some encouragement to remain blacked out, so being able to upvote using a (trusted) account is still helpful. I've replaced my Reddit usage with Lemmy and I do intend to stay away from reddit.
Yeah maybe we should keep them together a bit more. Although a separation of practice/quali/race is needed as a minimum imo
Yeah I did the same with Jerboa a few days ago. I keep clicking it, and it's actually building the "good" habit of using Lemmy instead of reddit. There's less content here though, but maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Filling the "mindless scrolling of the internet" time with something useful should be my actual goal. So having less stuff to browse might help with that.

De AH is naar mijn mening beter, maar bij mij lokaal is de Jumbo beter. Groter assortiment qua dingen dit ik belangrijk vind (kaas, speciaalbier, kefir, en meer). Wel iets verder weg, maar nog steeds super dichtbij.
Ik weet dat ik moet zeuren, maar deze hittegolf viel me eigenlijk nog wel mee. Normaal is mijn appartement met deze temperaturen warmer dan de kern van de zon. Hoewel dat nu ook het geval was, zorgde de wind ervoor dat het een stuk draaglijker was. 's Nachts koelde het daadwerkelijk weer af omdat de wind hard genoeg was en uit de goede richting kwam. Normaal met dit weer lijkt het altijd windstil, waardoor de koude lucht nooit binnen komt. Ik maak me daarintegen wel zorgen om de droogte, het gras begint nu alweer behoorlijk geel te worden en we moeten nog 2-3 maanden zomer.
Gemiddeld genomen heb ik liever een perenijsje, maar om eerlijk te zijn hangt het redelijk van het moment af welke ik liever heb
For me it was mostly being able to discuss things and sub to certain subreddits privately, as my main Reddit account was known by friends and also easily traceable to me as a person. So for example being able to discuss in the LGBT+ subs before being out as aro/ace.
