Halo CE was the first Xbox game and first FPS I ever tried after having only really played platformers and Pokémon. I remember being really blown away by how open the map for the second level felt. The controls were simple enough for me to pick up relatively easily. (It only took me a few hours to stop accidentally hitting left trigger and blowing myself up...)
Spec ops the line was one of the first games that I played that really made me think about what I was doing as I played it.
Minecraft or Halo based on what I've spent the most time playing throughout my life. However, I haven't enjoyed any of the newer Halo games the way I did as a kid, so maybe not the best choice if I wanted to play anything up to date.
Nothing can ever beat The Room for me.
I downloaded Connect for Lemmy as I'd seen others recommend it. I suppose I was drawn to using an app out of instinct rather than need. I'm waiting for Sync for Lemmy and can't be bothered to try out a bunch of other apps before then.
I prefer contacts but I'm too lazy to go to the opticians and get my eyes checked out to get a new prescription for them... I should really get round to that. I was terrified of touching my eyes when I was younger, but my vanity made me overcome that fear when I was 12/13 as I thought I'd never get a partner if I wore glasses.
