XMPP and Threema don't require a phone number. And if you want you can run XMPP on your own server.

In netherlands a sim lock is not allowed for years. Nokia had never sim locks on their phones. As far as I know, bootloader locks are done by the manufaturer not by the provider. Edit down -> done

It's not about coverage but about money. SMS is in my country (nl) free, for data you havd to pay. Bedides that SMS works on every phone from simple gdm to smartphone

The Motorola has 1 tray for 2 sim cards and 1 micro sd card. The nokia had 2 trays, 1 for 2 sims and 1 for 1 micro sd card. The Nokia has binned 2 weeks ago, battery was in no time flat and the back of the phone was bulging

Yeah, it's a strange language 🤭 Sometimes you say Nos comemos and sometimes Comemos. But I keep trying. As long as I can do shopping and some smalltalk I'm fine. I don't think Spanish speaking people will shoot me for not speakin' perfect

Which headphone, 32,250 or 600 Ohm (self.budgetaudiophile)
submitted 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) by Dutchie to c/budgetaudiophile

I want to buy the Beyer Dynamic DT-880 but don't know which 1 to buy. Most of the time I will use it on my Yamaha A-S201 amplifier and occasionally on my smartphone or computer. Checked the Yamaha user manual but can't find anything about impedance of the phone connection. Any advice about impedance or better headphone for approx the same price is welcome.

Question about premium (self.telegram)
submitted 9 months ago by Dutchie to c/[email protected]

Got an offer for 39% discount for Premium in the app. Is this only for the first year or is this also for the following years? Can't find anything about that. I have 2 accounts in the app, is Premium for both accounts or only the account where I do the payment?
