I left reddit because reddit is the bottle that contains wine made by us. Now I prefer to put the wine I create in a decentralized bottle.

Even if just by repetition of these kind of posts, while I feel relatively established already in the fediversr aggregators, it is still helpful for me reading in different words the same concepts, till I really interiorize them.
Thank you!
Count me in.
However I find that, as users, we waste too much energy thinking of Reddit. I have ditched it and I have moved on. I don't have any need to see how many more people did it, or how many still use Reddit.
It doesn't do any favor to ourselves, and to some extent it is like our happiness in the fediverse still relies on whatever Reddit (or its users) do.
My honest belief is that the technology that supports MSFS (I'm talking about Azure mostly) evolves at such a speed that they found themselves both capable and, maybe to some extent, forced to rewrite part or all the core before they initially expected.
I use tu be cautious when buying games, but flight sims are my main thing by a long shot. I'll probably buy on day 1.
No need to purchase modules again. Confirmed they will work in the new sim.
No skydiving expert here either.
But just for the sake of curiosity, the PC-6 payware (I don't remember the developer) does model a propeller mode used for skydiving ops in the real plane, that allows to nose down like you want to arrive to the deck before the jumpers.
Reddit's CEO wants me back, and he's not having me this way.
Man if you are that pissed by this, your life must be a nightmare.
You don't have control over what others do. You can only control your own actions. See, you are giving the control of your happiness to the rest of the world.
Just did my part. I have just deleted my accounts.
WTF!!!
Thx for raising awareness. This is crossing a line.
I guess next step would be not to delete posts but to edit them.
The world is lacking a space simulation sub in Lemmy.
One day I used to browse Reddit. Basically next day I switched to Lemmy / Kbin.
I only arrive to reddit when the search engine gives me what I'm looking for over there. No regrets. It is valuable info that deserved to be consumed. When I make effort to create valuable info I now create it in federated media.
