Try Gochujang? It's a little sweeter depending on the source, and more a paste then a sauce but I found myself using it in similar applications. Kinda sad the story behind Sriracha.

If you are willing to at least consider stainless, Zojirushi makes some wonderful simple and durable without looking clunky products. I have an insulated carafe from them we use daily to keep extra brewed coffee warm so we don't have to brew multiple times.
