Assassin's Creed Valhalla. That game just never gets old for me. As an archaeologist I think this is as close to being in that time (albeit with it's anachronisms) as I will get.

Yeah, those 5 1/4" disks compared to what we have now. Mind you, the disk drive was the size of a breeze block and generated enough heat to warm your house! Still, it was more reliable for loading games than tapes.
I have very fond memories of games on my Commodore 64. What an experience that was! My friend had a ZX Spectrum, so between us we got the best of both. Great times.

I've been watching The Why Files. There is plenty of content covering different topics and AJ presents a balanced view. Hecklefish can be pretty funny making the videos enjoyable.

The Thing and They Live are classics. I also enjoyed The Thing prequel, though less than Carpenter's original. A couple of favourites of mine are From Beyond and Reanimator

Same here. If I can't use a 3rd party app to smooth over Reddit's shit-filled cracks then I'm done with it. Jerboa seems ok so far. I've also signed up for a Mastodon account, awaiting approval, so I may end up using Fedilab
