Assassin's Creed Valhalla. That game just never gets old for me. As an archaeologist I think this is as close to being in that time (albeit with it's anachronisms) as I will get.

Yeah, those 5 1/4" disks compared to what we have now. Mind you, the disk drive was the size of a breeze block and generated enough heat to warm your house! Still, it was more reliable for loading games than tapes.

I have very fond memories of games on my Commodore 64. What an experience that was! My friend had a ZX Spectrum, so between us we got the best of both. Great times.

I had Commodore 64 and my friend had a ZX Spectrum, we were both in awe of the games and their graphics, which at the time seemed amazing.

I've been watching The Why Files. There is plenty of content covering different topics and AJ presents a balanced view. Hecklefish can be pretty funny making the videos enjoyable.

The Thing and They Live are classics. I also enjoyed The Thing prequel, though less than Carpenter's original. A couple of favourites of mine are From Beyond and Reanimator

It's why I'm here, and I'm liking it so far

Same here. If I can't use a 3rd party app to smooth over Reddit's shit-filled cracks then I'm done with it. Jerboa seems ok so far. I've also signed up for a Mastodon account, awaiting approval, so I may end up using Fedilab
