Become warden, help to protect the word.

I still have the Clan wolf propaganda flyer the game came with and it turned into a lifelong hobby, I'm still making my way through all the Battletech novels.

It's easy to be magnanimous, calm, rational and fun when everything's going your way and a lot harder when it isnt.

This came up before for them when they were really challenged or things got tense but for one reason or another the pressure was let off and things went back to normal.

Some teams (people) handle the transition better than others and F1 has easily had examples of both over the years, think it just means their a regular team.

Agreed, I'm always surprised having it on one of the sides isn't more common.

The MST3k episode of this was just perfect

I think that's pretty fair to say, your best never quite being good enough can be crushing. Hopefully Checo can find a way mentally to take himself out of the title fight and just focus on the drive.

One can only wonder at the need to bring this up and set another arbitrary target

I can't help but think that this kind of thing really highlights how good Bottas and Rubens (in particular) were, sure they were outshone to a degree by their team mates but more often than not they were competitive and consistent.
