The place I work at has a bunch of back-end developers that also have to pull double shift as front-end developers and it's very clear that none of us are really sure what we're doing with the front-end.

All of these American examples are missing a key part of the Isekai genre which is power fantasy. 99% of Isekai involves the MC being an overpowered self-insert character that has a harem of sex slaves.

I consider Isekai and other world to be different aspects of the same basic concept.

I'm dying laughing at the image in my head about your scenario.

Gay Waiter: And what do you want?

You: I want some pasta fag.

Wataru is definitely going to get noticed if he starts riding around in a fleet of massive ships.

Honestly that would be a rather funny scene in a time travel episode.

It also seems like she's claiming Israel is part of the USA. I hadn't realized we annexed them..

This happens to me a lot. I'll watch something and really enjoy it only to find out it got terrible reviews. It's really annoying because it usually means the series I like all get cancelled after a couple of seasons.

These articles pop up occasionally about people losing their jobs because it was revealed they have and OnlyFans account and I just don't understand what all the fuss is about. This guy thinks he can't be arrested because he saw her having sex with her husband!?! At least the Mayor seems to have a bit of common sense regarding this.

That actually sounds pretty amazing. Might not be enough for a series but definitely enough for a movie.

Transporters are inconsistent in how they work in Star Trek. The transporters work however the writers of the episode need it to work for the plot. Sometimes it's a clone machine and sometimes it's something else.

The Barclay episode I was referring to was Realm of Fear.

Create a way to merge both Yous together after and you have a pretty neat failsafe for away missions.

There was that one episode with Barclay that showed he was conscious during transport and also showed that people could exist inside the matter stream (or whatever the technobabble is).
