"See you next Tuesday" is a derogatory euphemism?

Edit: I would have never figured out what it was supposed to mean on my own. I had never heard of that before and judging by all the quick replies it's a more well known insult then I would have guessed.

The time travel subplot was wasted by the writers. The Temporal Cold War set the series in an alternate reality from the rest of Trek and would have let them write whatever stories they wanted without having to worry about continuity.

While I like all the seasons of ENT, I actually liked the first two seasons the best. I find that Star Trek works best with an episodic format as opposed to long running plotlines. Watching the first crew to explore space finding out how unprepared they were, having to find a balance between optimism and pragmatism, and having to basically make up the rules that would later become future Starfleet policy was fun and enjoyable.

TOS feels like a completely different franchise when you compare it with TNG through ENT. I blame the tone shift on when it was created. There's almost 20 years separating TOS and TNG while TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT were back to back.

It's probably not a popular opinion but I consider TOS to be the weakest entry of Star Trek (that I've seen) and completely understand why it got cancelled.

I agree 100%. Another design flaw is engineering and security having the same color.

That's their term for money. They believe money stopped being money and turned into coupons when we dropped the gold standard. Due to this, they believe they can just send out an IOU and have it treated like valid currency.

It's appropriate since they believe that words are magic and as long as they say the right words, the "spell" will be cast and they will become immune to laws.

The judge compared Littlejohn’s actions to those of the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, noting that, “your actions were also a threat to our democracy.”

Because stealing and releasing tax documents is the same thing as attempting to violently overthrow the government.

Most "all you can eat" places don't let you take home leftovers. The wat staff will judge how many portions to bring out and if you need more they'll bring it out in order to prevent too much food waste. It worked out really well and there was a lot of food.

People don't order individual meals. You order a meal for the whole table which is then brought out to the whole table to share. They provide unlimited refills of everything. So the whole table has to get together to decide what entree and sides they want. They don't let you take any leftovers home either. Everyone gets butter rolls and a dessert.

If you go to their site you can see the menu but your choices are a 2, 3, or 4 entree meal with 4 sides.

The only time I ever needed a waiter to explain how things worked was when I ate at a Paula Dean restaurant. That place did not work like a normal restaurant.

When are we going to start arresting all these traitors? Letting them do whatever they want without consequences only encourages them.
