It's not exactly the same, but you might want to check out Brigador if you love isometric tactical mech gameplay.

Aonuma says Nintendo not thinking about classic style Zelda games at the moment. Does anyone think it likely they could use a third party developer again, like when Capcom made the Minish Cap ? in c/[email protected]

My guess is they would use Grezzo, since they did the remasters of Ocarina and Majora, as well as the Switch remake of Link’s Awakening.

If you’re looking for some non-Nintendo takes on old school Zelda, I would recommend Super Dungeon Maker and the Blossom Tales series.
