Sainz seems to be doing okay - Charles still wants either too much from the car or really doesn't have an idea of it's limits.

The article acknowledged Horner's statement which was based upon an initial assessment. Once the Ortho got to work it was found to be more complicated.
Double stack of unfortunate news for DannyRic. Hopefully the doctor (who also worked on Stroll when he hurt his hand) can work some magic.
Summer break came early and is sticking around
That coverage of the finish definitely left me wanting. There wasn't even as much a graphic with the final placing.
Maybe they were all just excited to get on with summer break.
If the primary goal of the setup is to be more economical with tires brought, I think this could still be accomplished with the old format.
Yes we saw how everyone ran on the same tires at the same time, it personally did nothing to make FP more interesting, if anything it caused more backup of cars waiting to try and time the end just right. Less strategy, more luck. Lastly, because of this backup, it also penalizes those who do go out earlier because they have to try and finish their lap around a train.
Again, if the goal is fewer tires used then just reduce their allotment.
From a purely observational standpoint, Zhou had a terrible start off the line. He was getting passed from those behind him; I think he was still accelerating / maneuvering to get position when the pack was braking for the turn.
Clearly there is strategy involved too - Horner stating they focused too much on the race (at the expense of qualifying) is interesting on a track viewed to be more difficult to pass on
This was really Lando just looking out for Max, as now Max has something to "work on" over the break
What were you expecting to see here if not "spoilers" of the race posted as it went on. Whether highlights or winner, if you don't want to know you shouldn't get on.
That said, I would like to see more lively community discussion (before, during, and after the race) and saying "just don't come here" isn't very welcoming either.
I guarantee you rival teams will have already gone back over all the available info from that race to see if they can learn anything here and spoiler, they and Checo haven't. Either what Max learned is unique to the car and suits a style he can drive or there really isn't much here - I really question a driver saying these things if it would mean losing a competitive advantage.
