If that’s the compromise it takes to get support where it is needed then so be it. The US has plenty to go around and Israel is going to do what they will do with or without our help.

Also Gaza is the size of basically just one neighborhood inside of Kiev alone. The scale of two the conflicts are so massively different. Many Americans I’ve discussed this with have no idea how much bigger Ukraine is.

Maybe nuclear winter doesn’t sound so bad anymore…

I remember this being a known thing with dolphins too, but maybe that’s just one of those things you learn as a kid and trust forever

I think all you need to know about this guy is the Vatican asked him to resign a few days ago and he said no. You do not say to no to that sort of thing! He absolutely knew they would remove him and instead of going quietly he said no to make it a big thing. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him running for office, or starting his own break off sect of “true Catholics” soon. Good riddance.

Yeah, I don’t love how the publishing industry has to start the hype thing so darn early!

It would be nice if we could boost it up to some sort of high storage orbit. Then it could hang out there until we have the technology to drag it down to a museum on the moon or something. Maybe a SpaceX starship will be able to do it before the station reaches end of life.

Geraldine Largay, “Inchworm”, was a hiker who went missing off the Appalachian Trail in Maine and died in 2013. It took two years for them to find her body, and it was found only a couple of miles from the trail. Those woods are so thick. If he’s dead if could be a long time until he is found.

The hypocrisy of the modern Republican Party I guess, but what would such an apparently devout Christian man see in Donald Trump of all people?!

It’s hot again, which means it’s chafing season. One thing I’ve noticed is that my running shorts always ride up on my left leg, and only my left leg. Multiple pairs, different brands and styles, it doesn’t matter. I get much worse chaffing on that leg. I use Body Glide or Squirrel’s Nut Butter religiously and can manage it alright, but I’m wondering about why my shorts always ride up on just that one leg. Is that normal? Does that happen to you? Could it say something about my gait? Or maybe my thighs just aren’t even in size? Thanks

I keep seeing memes from this community in my global feed so I look to the sidebar to see what’s up and all I see is it’s the equivalent of Reddit’s /r/196, but I don’t want to go to that site and look at their info! What’s up?

(This is my post, rule #1 btw.)

How about a lactic acid in a grey on ice - a grey urine culture boric acid tube that is! Took me a second to even grasp what had happened, “why is that a solid clot?”

My wonderful wife and mother of my child got me flowers. It’s not exactly the most manly thing, but nobody has ever gotten me flower before, and it makes me feel so happy and appreciated! Hope everyone has a great one!

But who else will probably avoid coming here to reduce their post work anxiety?
