When is America going to learn that you can't punish murder with murder? You are literally saying "rules for thee but not for me."

Already have had 2 and due for my third. I'm 49 with a looooonnnggg history of bowel issues.

Get those colonoscopies folks, you don't want to die of embarrassment.

My father and maternal grand father both got colon cancer around the same time, both got treatment and went into remission.

Both went out of remission around the same time (well, dad came out of remission and grampa got leukemia from radiation therapy) they both died 2 months apart.

Lucky me has a risk of colon cancer from both sides. Yay.

Personal experience.

From personal experience about 80% of the harassment I recieve is from straight white american males, not kids either, many times they're middle aged. There are some females in the mix, rarely people of colour but there have been a few.

If I were to guess I would imagine it's because women and people of colour also belong to vulnerable communities and run the risk of attracting the wrong type of attention and becoming targets themselves.

Not every white american male is a troll or violent obviously but since 2015 the ones who are continue to become active threats.

Honestly I see them almost as victims themselves. No troll, stalker, mass shooter, etc started out that way. They became radicalized online by getting wrapped up in online activities they were not emotionally nor intellectually equipped to handle.

An example is the Christchurch massacre https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christchurch_mosque_shootings

He didn't start out as a mass murderer, he was radicalized online in places like 8chan. He even posted on 8chan that they needed to keep an eye on Christchurch because something big was going to happen.

It's not just americans and it's not just white males but so many get caught up in the culture of trolling that there are going to be those who become fundamentally damaged by the continued activity to the point that they take it too far and sometimes that leads to things like mass shootings, or swatting, stalking or other criminal behaviour.

The Republicans have been playing by the nazi playbook for a long time now.

Nazis didn't start with the Jews. They knew they couldn't get away with rounding up an entire ethnic group. They started with the LGBTQ community. They dehumanized lgbtq people in the eyes of the public and made it seem like they were doing it for the good of a pure and powerful Germany. When that worked they realized how easy it was to dehumanize an entire population in the eyes of the public and used the same tactics against Jews, Roma etc.

When you think about it the lgbtq community is the first line of defence protecting democracy because they are the most vulnerable and easiest to demonize. Once it's ok to eradicate one group of people it becomes so much easier to do the same to larger groups.

It won't stop at lgbtq people, they will keep eradicating every minority until they're actually stopped by force. So far they've gone after trans people, gay marriage, women's reproductive rights and have even talked about overturning Loving vs Virginia. Their goal is a straight, white, "Christian" male utopia.

In 20 years you're going to be trying to find something to watch and flicking through the channels/streamers you're going to see it and realize you haven't watched it in ages. Then the nostalgia will kick in and it won't seem half as bad as you thought it was in 2017 (dear god 2037 isn't as far away as it feels 🫨) and you'll actually enjoy it. You might even have a few youngins you want to share the experience with and you'll spend Christmas vacation watching the entire franchise with the littles.

It happens to all of us eventually. Well, a lot of us.

No, they really aren't. You can't go onto any page run by or made for a minority group without constant nazi level hate and yet Facebook does nothing. If however you defend yourself you get banned for bullying. They enjoy causing harm to vulnerable communities because they like to make money and don't care who gets hurt as long as ad revenue keeps rolling in.

They specifically have hate speech as a reportable offence and do absolutely zero about all forms of hate speech. I've reported people calling others f××××× and they've done nothing. I don't even think they believe n××××× is offensive.

I just started a few days ago and already had to deal with a transphobic troll. Online is so toxic that I'm afraid eventually all social media platforms end up on trolls radar and they seek to destroy them. It's a shame because they ruin social media for everyone including themselves.

So many people lack a basic sense decency that they actually think it's ok to cause harm to other people simply for their own amusement. It's usually straight white american males too.

See, this is why the rest of us tend to not like your country. Your reputation for rudeness is well earned.
