Precisely as intended.

I saw Manes by Mel use this in one of her vids and have been thinking of getting one. I use a Wet brush now and am reasonably happy with it.
I’m so happy to have found this new curly community! I’ve felt so stranded (lol, sorry) since leaving Reddit a month ago.
TLDR: Nizoral + your preferred curly shampoo
I recently learned that the ‘proper’ way to wash with dandruff shampoo is to massage it into your scalp (without actively trying to clean the rest of the hair), leave it for 5 min, rinse and then wash the rest of your hair with a different shampoo. I end up putting on that second shampoo, Shea Moisture daily hydration for me, kind of like you would with conditioner, avoiding the roots. I use nizoral now for dandruff control, but I’ve also done it with coal tar shampoo (also appreciate that it gets rid of some of the smell).
For reference, I have relatively fine, thick 3A curls with some heat damage.
I second this, thank you! I’m new to the fediverse too, since June 12 anyway, and am missing so many of my niche and local subs. Similarly to OP, I’ll try to be less of a lurker this time around.
We played tour guide for my boyfriend’s mom a couple weeks ago. The highlight for me was the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. It’s a 140 acre nature preserve with a native wildflower meadow, ponds, a Japanese garden, a mansion, a moss forest and more.
20-ish minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle. You have to buy tickets for an entrance time so it doesn’t get crowded. They close at 5 and last entrance is 3:30. I’ve lived in Seattle my whole life and can’t believe I’d never even heard of it.
That went so well for Turkey. At least we’re not in an earthquake zone.
I for sure support expanding housing and density, but this makes me nervous. I also don’t know much about SEPA so I’m not sure what the potential impact is.
Did he get your vote last time? Some people don’t vote solely on the ‘what can you do for me specifically’ criterion
