Yes, almost all of it is bad. But that's only because there's a lot of bad games on there. There are certainly great games on mobile, you just have to find them.

That's honestly one of the subreddits I miss the most. I mean, sure, I can go visit it still, but it just feels wrong. It honestly feels like a bad prestige or accidentally clicking "Hard Reset."

Nobody will always deliver a solid product on launch, eventually everyone will stumble

They did stumble pretty hard and then try to obscure the glaring issues it was having up towards launch. And it was like, what, a month ago where the VP of CDPR said that "the launch wasn't that bad" and "people were jumping on the bandwagon." I mean, I personally don't like the game since it's focus is on things I don't care about and is lacking in the areas I do like.

I think nobody would really say their childhood was boring. But if you were to take a kid from the 80s and a kid today and compare their daily lives, regardless of what interests they have, the 80s kid would find their own life pale in comparison. You've got video games, movies, social media, news, books, and music on the entertainment front. There's so many paths to express one's creativity, whether in art, music, engineering, film. And of course nothing is really stopping you from doing anything you could do 30 years ago and doing it today.

What was the collapse?

It's a game I like and it gets more and more stuff. The only times games keep adding more things to itself is either a very infrequent constant subscription fee, or more frequent DLCs. There's only so much you can do off the sales of the base game.

It's automation focused. There is survival, but in the sense of like repelling a wave of aliens coming to attack you, usually via automation.

It's still a pretty addicting game as you work out how to do things and laying out plans for how certain processes will look. I'd still recommend checking it out regardless.

There is RCS, which supports actually sending decent quality images and stuff, but it only works Android to Android. Android to iOS (although perhaps it's changed since I last checked) can only do SMS.

That seems like it's too plausible a terraforming option, how about just 'popping' the atmosphere a bit to let out a bit of the CO~2~.

You don't need AI to unfairly filter out résumés, they've been doing it already for years. Also the argument that a human would always make the best decision really doesn't work that well. A human is biased and limited. They can only do so much and if you make someone go through a 100 résumés, you're basically just throwing out all the applicants who happen to be in the middle of that pile as they are not as outstanding compared towards the first and last applicants in the eyes of the human mind.

Crackers don't remove the DRM, they just bypass it. So it's still there. Also performance tends to improve over time as patches come out, so even a version that has it removed doesn't necessarily compare to an older protected copy.

However, there have been times where the protected version and an identical non-protectd version were released, such as in Devil May Care 5. Denuvo does objectively reduce performance based on that, but the performance loss is so negligible that you would have already needed to be well below the game's requirements to actually see any notable difference.

Lastly you have cases like Rime and Injustice 2 where Denuvo completely ruined the game's performance.

All in all, best case it does barely anything, worst case the game is unplayable. And even when it works totally as intended, comes the actual need for online verification. Meaning that the best most convenient way to play said game is just to pirate it.

Wait, but I'm pretty sure they did. Like pretend incest. It's why everything has "Step" in it.
