The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is highly overrated!
The main characters were obnoxious, I didn't end up caring about any of them, and quite frankly, I wished the towel guy had died at the beginning along with everyone else on Earth (except the dolphins). I wasted hours of my life over those 3 books!
A pen lid with the long bit broken off, a shopping trolly token, 1 threadbare sock, a novelty rubber (eraser), and one of those black twisty wires that are used to tie up new USB cables, all sealed in a sandwich bag with 'aubergine curry' written on it in janky handwriting.
Why all this random rubbish? Because it'll absolutely screw with their brains!
As a marine biology buff, I really enjoyed The Aquatope on White Sand. Yeah, there's a bit of a fantasy element to it, but the day-to-day running of the different aquariums rang true.
Yeah, I've made something similar at home as a last resort after running out of butter, but while I like my pb crunchy, I'm not so much a fan of crunchy marmite.
@Fassmacher Depends on how dirty your knife is. I make sure to whipe all the butter off on the toast before drlving into the Marmite.
Yes! I agree with you that DS9 was better than the others. It moved away from The Alien of the Week storylines to something bigger. A great show.
