This was a great discovery for me. I love the federated system. Look, you can't ask for decentralization while also demanding a centralized community. This system works a lot for me. Yes, i know there is also the issue of some communities closing and getting "defederized" but regardless I prefer a system that will be resilient and not compromised by a CEO or shareholders bs. I prefer my data to be disposable and spread throughout multiple private servers than under one big fucking corporation

Embrace chaos. That's what social networks want us to do. Become their data so they can use us to become their corporate power. This federation system is really good, decentralized flexible. I love it. Keep it open source. They fuck with us, we go elsewhere. I for one dont care for reddit anymore

Absolutely. I don't care if it's wonky or slow. This is what reddit felt like back in 2004..05 when i started. Bring it!

Just signed up here after RIF died and I am not going back to reddit in the foreseeable future. I am hoping a lot of new people will come here and leave reddit
