I would think that it would be good practice to stay current with your funds. Every year or so, review what's available and move to whatever the meta happens to be.

I don't know about Android but Electrum-LTC does. Also, if you have a hardware wallet, that also solves that problem (and many others) pretty quickly.

how would I into Electrum-LTC

Virtual Machine but... I'd just do a hardware wallet or paper to be on the safe side.

And this is why we put our investment money in airlines instead of stores around Black Friday. 😉

Ahhh see I had everything backed up already. Shit. I should've tried it after deleting something. I figured it would find a button and be asked where I wanted to put the file. Share kinda works for that.

See, I did all that... and then audio broke. So, I couldn't anymore, man. I probably could've copied the install, kept it updated and held it for a resolution but I just don't demand that much from my builds anymore really. I went with Mint with XFCE and haven't had a single issue since install. I'm good. If it comes down to Ubuntu's base, a lot more eyes will be on the problem and I'll sort it out then.

Hello all. Long-time smoker, 35, male. Anything and everything but edibles. Mostly legit. Some D8 in a pinch but nowhere near the majority.

For the last four months, about once every two weeks, I'll wake up, take a shower, walk into my living room, have a sip of water, and then run back into my bathroom, where I will vomit until the bile comes out and writhe on the floor, onto the bed, holding my stomach for 6-12 hours, screaming for God or Satan, whoever shows up first.

I've been in the hospital three times over the last month over it and only on the last visit was I asked if I used marijuana. There is nothing on any CT scan I've done, ultrasound, kidneys, liver, pancreas, appendix.

"Well I've never heard of this gobbledygook and I also have no idea how to search for stuff!"

Apparently, had you the genetic disposition, cannabinoids can bind to your stomach, and the sphincters to and from it, altering the timeframe it takes for your stomach to empty and the lagging or simply disabling entirely of the functions of the bottom of your esophagus until it's over. You'll be screaming in pain for around 8 hours. Buckle up.

Do I believe Cannabis is solely responsible?

The disease is rare and only shows up in people (usually men) who smoke daily for two or more years. I've been smoking daily for ten.

(Obligatory) Psyop?

If it were, I'd expect a little more than a matter-of-fact "quit and you'll be ok". Usually money or some type of group wants your attention from such things. I'm more leaning to this being a legitimate disease, and peers are kind-of agreeing on it. Multiple sources seem to be finding the same conclusions and I haven't met a Doctor yet who hasn't heard of it in some capacity.

I'm open to bribes, though.

I don't blame cannabis. I smoked it. It didn't jump in my mouth and light itself. I don't blame anyone else. I am unlucky, genetically speaking. You may never get it. You may never have a single symptom, or you might. If weed works for you, fantastic. It worked for me for years, until it wanted to kill me one morning, such is the diceroll of living.

Edit: I'll answer everyone after 4:30pm est. At work.

Ladies and * of the simracing Fediverse, my name is BlinkerFluid and I don't even own a wheel yet... it's out for delivery. G29, btw. Yes, YouTube.

I, am a nerd and I like operating systems that are light, utilitarian, pretty, quick and easy to use. The last part may be subjective, but I like Linux. It gives me the ownership feeling of actually owning my PC, and I don't want to give that up to race simulators.

This will all be done on Garuda Linux, KDE variant, for those following along at home.

I will catalogue my journey for historical use, for the Linux driver of the future who came here from his SearX search on his self-hosted AMD 6600 AIO he got on ebay for $200.

So where are we at, Mr. Fluid?

I own a lot of racing games and I happen to know quite a few run on Linux, like BeamNG! I also know some... kinda... work or not so well, work on Linux, like Assetto Corsa, despite spending an hour throwing protontricks commands at it from blog posts to install lots of missing Windows libraries, and the content manager. That works, at least.

Yeah so far, AC has loaded, then failed to load the exact same car and track setup, then hang, then crash. BeamNG has been a saint, and runs well, so it will likely be my first choice for testing my wheel, despite being like, my 5th choice for a racing experience, it's closer to my 1st-2st choice for a solo driving experience.

Huzzah, PCSX2!

Then there's Gran Turismo 4 and PCSX2. First off, I know I can run it as I've ran about half the game on an Xbox controller and my PC doesn't suck... that much. This hits all of my marks, personally even if it isn't that modern as this is my gaming generation, and also my generation of cars.

but a massive grey area is the wheel. I've seen general how-to's for Windows users but I'm not sure if the same information applies for me and I can't know until I have the wheel.

Dirt.. 3?!

Yeah, I'm 35 and I've been gaming forever so I own Dirt 3 on steam despite it not actually being on steam anymore. I'm pretty sure I can get the wheel running with this, although I wonder at what level.

I have a few others but I'm not sure what the utility of a racing wheel with arcade racers would be, but I'm at least going to see what chaos unfolds, and I'm also interested in cruising around GTA 5 with a wheel despite it not really being a sim. The experience would be tight.

I will keep you updated! Stay tuned!
