The text of the press release is as follows:

50501 is a peaceful movement dedicated to positive change through nonviolent action. We unequivocally condemn any form of violence, threats of violence, or the suggestion of using weapons in connection with our movement. There is absolutely no place for such rhetoric in our spaces.

To be completely clear: Weapons are not permitted at any of our events. Our mission is rooted in peaceful advocacy, and we will not allow any actions that could endanger our supporters, the public, or law enforcement.

In all of our events, we have worked in accordance with local law as it pertains to local gatherings and protesting, including pulling permits. We expect all of our supporters to conduct themselves lawfully and responsibly, and disavow anything advocating for disruption or violence.

Furthermore, we have a zero-tolerance policy regarding discussions of firearms, violence, or any form of incitement on our channels and platforms. Anyone who violates this policy will be immediately banned. T here will be no warnings, no second chances.

We urge everyone to remain peaceful, lawful, and committed to the principles of nonviolent action. 50501 stands for justice, progress, and the power of the people -- peacefully . Let's keep it that way.

March Forth! The community seems to have decided on March 4th as the next day of protest for our movement. Head to your state capitol or nearest major city on 3/4/2025 to protest against Donald Trump declaring himself the king of the United States!

It appears that the mods of r/50501 have taken the subreddit private, meaning no organizing can happen there until it is made public again.

The official X account of the White House posted this image with the words, "Long Live the King." The only way Trump could get closer to declaring himself king is by posting this from his personal account.

THEY will call us traitors for demanding fairness. THEY will say we are dangerous for speaking out. But EVERY dictatorship starts by SILENCING dissent and CONVINCING people that obedience is patriotism.

This isn’t about politics. This is about survival.

THEY are betting on your silence. THEY are counting on your inaction.

Prove them wrong.

WE are gathering. WE are organizing. WE will not be ignored.
