Oh great. Now I'm losing hope in this project even more.

Looks like a fun community, I'll join.

No, not at all. They both are made for different purposes.

privatebin is pretty good.

Welp, I haven't seen anyone learn Swift other than for Apple stuff these days. So I wonder how many can actually contribute to the code. It's also made by Apple, so yeah. It would have been more performant and secure (both of which are pretty important in a browser) if it was written in a more low level language. For example Rust.

They only realized that when he said that? What a weird infosec team. I guess they also could use SimpleX if they wanted the most secure, private and anonymous option, but I think Signal is pretty well balanced as a messenger. Good privacy and usability.

I don't know. I primarily use Mull on android because it is a hardened version of Firefox. No issues with it so far.

It's nice and all but usage of Swift is kind of not great.

XMPP could have been great if it weren't left to die. The clients look like from the 2000s and encryption is a mess to set up. We instead have Matrix, which is pretty resource intensive to run and has its own problems but it practically functions like XMPP.

Surprised that happened. Very rare to see that these days.

Alright. You do you, pal.

That strikes me as a terrible idea given what some people search on the web. I have also never run a TOR exit node.

It is somewhat like a TOR exit node indeed. Though you can easily prove your innocence by saying that you did not make these searches but that you merely run a meta search engine that helps others protect their privacy. Even the TOR project has templates for exit nodes to submit them to the government or whoever is contacting them in those cases.

I visit 4chan several times a day, though I use Lemmy more.

Edit: I now only visit it a few times a month.

This is a pretty neat feature which is unknown for some reason. For example, in the Lemmy frontend, you can "speak as mod" which basically distinguishes your comment from others. It highlights it, pins it to the top of the comment section and also adds a red shield next to your username.

Try it by commenting in a post as mod, click on the three dots on your comment and click on the shield on the right.

is jerboa going to have better markdown support? For example, superscript and subscript markdown does not work.

I've tried Cloudstream. It wasn't as good as Aniyomi imo.

It's pretty boring atm. Can't find anything good. Recommend me romance anime.

I want to give them money but since my childhood my parents pretty much told me that they are all either faking it or are too lazy to go to work for money. I mean, I guess they can go to work but not everyone gets accepted to work as easy as it sounds like.
