I’m not sure to be honest. I think both? I think ‘mini’ is the planet partially frozen except for the equatorial region, and the duration is a few thousand years opposed to perhaps tens or hundreds of thousands.

But I’m guessing based off the last one. It’s a good question. Either way, it’s a bad time for bald apes who’ve forgotten how to hunt.

Yes, I’m referring to ocean currents and how I’ve understood it, is that they carry warm currents from the equator to the poles which is a main driver of warm weather cycling the planet.

Once the ocean currents stall we lose that warmth transference and everything subsequently freezes, and quickly. Not globally, but around the 30th latitude, north and south which is enough to make Europe, Asia, North America and half of Argentina near uninhabitable.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t high C02 levels and global warming the reasoning behind the last Ice Age, circa. 11,000bc?

If the world warms enough and the Greenland glaciers melt into the ocean, a mini Ice Age can occur in as little as 50 years.

People don’t understand that we will freeze before we bake, and of the two, freezing will end our civilisation more assuredly.

a) discussions aren’t a crime.

b) what are studios going to do to the hundreds of millions of daily pirates? Write stern letters?

c) they tried identifying us and sending us stern letters in 2001 and we all laughed, then kept pirating anyway.

Yup. About 7 years ago I used to darkweb pretty hard in the drug scene (I haven’t in years so have at it, Mr. FBI).

Anyway I used Reddit subs a lot for info on new markets and onions, reliable sellers, and news on exit scams etc, but I only lurked - never commented. Anyone with a brain in their head knew they were honeypots.

Let’s just call this what it is, and what it will always be until the end of time. Two religions forced to live in a shoebox together.

Religion is to blame, both sides having their fairytale that is incompatible with the other side’s fairytale.

I’m done arguing, fighting, defending or taking sides in any of it. Every ten years we rinse and repeat this bullshit and it’s over nothing more than the fictional stories of two man made books.

And have no illusions, NO MATTER THE OUTCOME here we will be arguing about this same shit again in ten more years.

New research is suggesting caffeine’s stimulant effects are caused by the placebo effect anyway. The idea of decaf is kind of void if true.

You dummies. You know he says this shit intentionally, yeah?

  1. He knows his fan base won’t care and probably agree. They’re locked in.
  2. He knows the media with cover his outrageous statements, so that means…
  3. He gets another front page/headline/viral bump to get another small piece of the swing voters.

He is an absolute master PR-man, and no one has ever respected that fact to their own detriment.

Disclaimer: I hate the dickhead.

I’ve been saying this for years. The internet was better when you had to be a little bit more intelligent than the average person to access it.

Back when you needed knowledge of computers and software, modems, anti-virus, hardware etc, it kind of meant you needed a brain in your head to gain access. I’m not saying that made the internet an overtly-intelligent space, but it was more intelligent and measured than it is today.

As soon a smart phones and data plans entered the game, you could be as dumb as a second coat of paint and gain access with a single button. That opened the flood gates for the stupid. Now the stupid are here en mass and internet is just a dumpster fire full of retards.

Article Here: Ratugolea, out of contract at the end of 2023, could be the helping hand Brisbane has been looking for in defence. The 197cm, 100kg tank could be the replacement for Marcus Adams, who might not take to the field ever again after suffering a knock to the head last year with delayed concussion symptoms still having an impact.

Port Adelaide are also reportedly targeting Ratugolea.

Paywall Article Here And with Herald Sun reporting Geelong’s defensive back six stars look more settled without him, could this be the final year for Ratugolea at the Cattery?

I’m not the Mod. (lemmy.world)

Guys, I’m not the Mod here, Reddit’s Darthorn is. I’m guessing he’s just parked this sub but isn’t active here yet.

I’ve had a few messages asking for things here, but I’m just a lowly Lemon like you, trying to get this sub up and running. When I started here two weeks ago I was the first subscriber. We’ve now got 26. I’ll keep posting and talking to myself to keep the sub current and appealing until it either gets off the ground or I get bored of trying.

In the meantime if you need things, you can probably PM Darthorn over at Reddit (I can’t speak for him. I don’t know him). You can also help by posting stuff here, contributing to comments, or promoting this Lemmy !AFL sub to get more people.

I think it will work here eventually. Go Hawks! (yes, that’s me in the picture).

Are you marching?

“So concussion is OK if it’s on the same team and an accident, but if it’s an accident and you have different colours on your jumper, it’s automatically a suspension? Ohh I see that makes sense – not,” Thomas wrote sarcastically.”
