I just finished listening to the most recent book in the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. Every one of the books has been fantastic, but a few books in they started using a different voice actor/reader for each of the different narrators, and it really brought the characters to life for me. I eagerly await the next book.

When I actually get a chance to unwind, I usually just end up watching something on Netflix or taking a nap. Having two kids under six has really crushed my hobby time.
If I miraculously have more than an hour to myself, I like to work on my truck, reload ammunition, occasionally go shooting (at this point I enjoy the relaxing mindless reloading more than actually shooting), play PC games, go backpacking and camping, bake bread, and read.
Those don't sound like things a loser would do.
I would do everything in my power to make sure my family knows how much I love them. Not too worried about financial particulars etc. We're poor as fuck and all my accounts are jointly in my wife's name, so whatever resources there are she shouldn't have a problem getting at. I'm confident my brothers and her siblings would step up and help with our kids. My kids are old enough to miss me but young enough for it to probably not ruin their lives. They'd most likely be ok.
Regardless of the means of my demise, I'd slip away shortly before my time was up and drive to the police station or something.
