Semi-Funny story. I had never eaten beets before, but I started eating those beet and sea salt chips (so good!), and I freaked the fuck out when I peed red that next morning.
I have hella good healthcare through my job, and so I made an appointment with my primary care doc right away, and he was like "Any changes to your diet?"
Felt bad about wasting his time, but Jesus, I was not expecting that amount of red in the bowl!
I am a spring of knowledge about all of the domestic Real Housewives franchises (though I did just pick up Dubai recently).
I know all the lore behind all their relationships/alliances/enemies and off season shenanigans.
Its legitimately stupid how much I can talk about rich women who flaunt their wealth and then do trashy shit like throw wine in one another's faces or flip tables (or scam the elderly out of their retirement funds to fund their own lifestyle).
Ugh, seconding the makeup. Im spending 2025 on a low buy where Im only replacing essentials (like foundation, mascara, or eyeliner) as I need them.
Recently Coloured Raine went out of business and dropped all their eyeshadow prices down to $2.50, and I bought all of the palettes that were still available. Im pretty sure I have every single eyeshadow color at this point. The stack is so high I havent put them away in my vanity yet. Its like...9 palettes or something, on top of all the others I also have.
My husband and I just rediscovered Civ after not playing any of them for a decade.
Even now, a decade later, we have been sitting there for the past 2 weeks being like "Just one more turn" @ 2 am.
For me they're always the most uncomfortable due to the...feeling of them, but they're also by far the most gratifying afterwards.
I just feel like I relieve so much pressure/bloat and my cramps are temporarily alleviated.
Oh jesus, between this reason and the fact that my husband's guts are a legit mixing ground for chemical warfare, our marriage would not survive a one bathroom household.
Man, SATX has been on fire lately. Between this, the Tower of the Americas updates, and the horse drawn carriages being phased out, the city has been crushing it lately.
Now, if only the transportation department could direct some funding/attention to improving/adding bus lines, then they'd really be cooking!

Tell everyone you know that our healthcare literally bankrupts our working class, and that we still have crazy wait times for appointments due to our staffing shortages! Tell them there is absolutely zero upside to using anything remotely like our system!
