I think they're for performing the vasectomies as alluded to in the second panel. I assumed the turps is for make-shift antiseptic.

I know this is a well-worn response to this type of comment, but just look at the rest of the world.

It isn't an either/or situation. You can implement gun control and resolve the conditions that lead to gun violence.

I'm in the UK, I have a 3D printer sitting right next to me in my home office. I have no desire to print a gun.

It shouldn't be a controversial statement to say that gun control leads to a reduction in gun violence - it's literally proven true all over the world.

The only thing I've heard general consensus on is how good-looking he is.

Took me a second to puzzle this out...

Just in case any of my fellow Europeans need an extra nudge in the right direction, this is relating to the guy who has been arrested for shooting the healthcare CEO, and nothing to do with people in Italy.

It's the handwritten bit that I find hardest to believe, though. The guy studied AI at university and was involved in Game Design classes. He was a tech guy. Nobody who's that intimate with computers would choose to convey their message across three hand-written pages. It just seems really odd.

~~It was a McDonald's customer who turned him in.~~ (Edit: the article I read has been updated)

But I can't help but find the whole thing really suspicious. In his possession they found a gun, silencer, and three-page hand written manifesto.

Who handwrites an essay before going out to kill someone? That just feels hard to believe.

The most well-known British King, Henry VIII, was a large bulky man with a bushy red beard, dressed exactly as you imagine a King would be.

I imagine he's something of a blueprint for the appearances of fictional kings.

I switched from "Boost for Reddit" to "Boost for Lemmy", found as many equivalent subs as I could, and just went from there.

Because I'm using essentially the same interface, it's a very similar experience.

You do realise that other countries have internet servers too?

Americans might lose access to social media, and the internet in general, but much of the world will still be online.

It's a real-life trolley problem...

The way things are going, I fully expect to be turned into Soylent Green
