If you've been using Linux for 20 years that makes sense, as I have a lot of applications I used on windows that are not available on linux and have no alternative in any repo or flatpak, only as weird little projects on github (that don't work half the time). So I've spent a lot of time trying to replicate a resemblance of my work flow and QoL luxuries. Your work flow has been refined over that 20 years with little windows influence.

Yeah it's missing several returns to you.

Correct! It's where web searches bring me so it's what I use until I git gud enough to learn how to find things better.

I do in my server! But I didn't even consider it in terms of a workstation.

Yes the world of github and linux is vast and I am like a newborn baby. I hope to visit your bubble one day my friend.

Hey just wanted to let you know, I've read every single post in this community and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future every night before bed when I use lemmy to claw some precious time back from the eternal grind.

Thanks for posting.

Alternate twitch player or something like that

They are pretty creepy! I think just one of them would benefit from extremely realistic human eyes, just to throw off the viewer, in contrast to the clearly plastic/fake eyes in the rest.

That's not what they were referring to. I have a setting on my pixel 7 (and have had it on 2 older pixels) that automatically listens foe music playing anywhere around the phone and shows the title on the always on display and on the lockscreen. It samples audio once every several seconds and listens for music and if it hears some it activates, records some of the song, and finds the info. The battery usage is negligible in my experience and it's actually very useful, if you don't care about privacy.
