I always interpreted panem et circenses as a short-hand for "keep your people fed and happily distracted" rather than literally using bread and circuses to distract them.
I mean, you are less likely to change a status quo if you aren't hurting for anything and/or have the ability to drown the hurt you do have in simple, easy distraction.

The Artist's intent/message is based on a symbol that can be interpreted two ways, yes. But it is a massive oversimplification for the sake of validating opinions that are plainly wrong.
The Artist's point can only be conveyed by creating a situation where there is no context, so neither opinion can be validated. This is inapplicable in any way IRL because there is always context that will validate a specific opinion with facts. The comment just highlights that this situation is contrived and couldn't, or shouldn't, happen in such a way.
It warns of taking Data out of context to suit a specific narrative.

I don't think that's actually what they are referring to. Also, trans, as in transgender, isn't as "made up" as other more recent words. It's derived/taken from Latin
Don't think that works for words that don't have a verb as a base, i.e. Krankenpflege works because Pflege is a Verb and can be conjugated to Krankenpflegende but Mechaniker:in doesn't conjugate.
Also Geborgene means nothing even adjacent to being a Bürger. I'd personally would have guessed Bürgende but even that is a major stretch. You would either have to create an entirely new way to conjugate nouns or you have to use synonyms that can be conjugated that way. Both ways will be a huge change to how German is spoken

Scammers evolve to find new prey. While the phone scams and the different types of phishing might still work, I am quite that's not where most of the money is now.
We've seen kickstarter, bitcoin, mlm scams and what not. There's enough out there that have not been properly identified, too.
