And we're pitted against each other in every arena of our lives: professional, social, romantic, etc. I am so tired of the constant competition, but it's a prisoner's dilemma that women & society have every incentive to keep escalating.
So why do I have only see the "therapy" suggestion on mens' posts, while women get unending support?
Oh boy, you start by not comprehending the full meaning of my words, I'm almost certain this is going nowhere, but here goes nothing.
Pit against: to cause (someone or something) to fight or compete against (another person or thing)
This means that it is external sources forcing this to happen; it is not my choice. Even if there are some small places where this competition doesn't exist, they they will be corrupted eventually due to the prisoner's dilemma I mentioned.
I'm also really tired of people like you giving this cop-out "just leave" non-answer whenever societal issues are brought up. Imagine if someone told a feminist to "just leave" the "patriarchy."
