I am surprised a story like this has a happy ending.

Walkabout Golf in VR. Simple enough for family members, but challenging even for gamers.
The same science has happened in two places at once before. Lots of people rush to publish to avoid getting scooped.
Religion is just fiction, so this has not happened there. Heck, Joseph Smith couldn't even invent his religion twice without messing things up.
Maybe not precisely the same as the quote, but it's pretty similar. If there was a true religion, you'd expect it to have happened many times identically all over the world.
Looks partially resolved. Got rid of road markings, but incorrect blue left signs remain.
No different than email. That's why domains should be displayed in clients for users.
Is there a stallmanwasright community here yet? This would fit in there.
Living in a high density area would probably be more popular if walls were required to be thick enough that we could all blast music at high volumes and not bother anyone. It should be in the building codes.
Sadly, someone else had that.
Tolkien.world was already taken or I would have grabbed that.
I want the focus to be anything Tolkien, but hobbit.world feels more relaxed. Kinda leaning towards hobbit.world. I thought about ones like shire.world, but it didn't feel right.
There are so many responses for Bitwarden that I am suspicious. Is it just that popular, or is this some sort of astroturfing? I didn't think Lemmy was popular enough to attract that, but who knows.
Well then, I unironically want that!
Too much arguing in discussion forums and not enough relaxed fun.
If the lying thing was universal, I'd go with that. The world would be better if the powerful couldn't lie.
But just lies to me personally? That'd barely change my life at all.
Seeing anything in history though? That'd be amazing. It'd be work, but I could probably witness events and then work backwards and publish papers on it using publicly available information. Knowing the answer to start with would certainly make that sort of thing easier.
