As time goes on and the models age out they are likely to see less action, I agree. The E36 forum was bustling for a while about 5 years ago when I had mine, less so now. If necessity requires it, then I don’t think it’s a bad idea to have separate generation forums.
What cup is that? Can’t stop staring at the bubble on the left, but it’s better latte art than I can do haha. Looks tasty!!
Had to tell our DevOps guy this. Nobody at my company knows how to keep their build tools let alone their OS up to date. WhY WoNt IT CoMPilE?? Maybe because you’re using a 9 year old maven version, buddy.
If only EA could solve the issue of their stalls actually working reliably…a plug is just an attempt for good press. Need more locations instead of appeasing current Tesla owners who can already charge wherever they want. Manufacturers don’t care about EA, EVgo, etc. They made the NACS deal so they could try to get supercharger access because of how sparse and unreliable DCFC providers have been. So all these DCFC providers now feel like boxing out the CCS/CHAdeMO customer base that can only charge at those locations when non-Tesla NACS vehicles won’t roll off the assembly line until late 2024.
If the SAE standardizes NACS, and if by some miracle the US reversed course on CCS being the US standard, it doesn’t seem fair to gatekeep the supercharging network. Rather, I don’t think the federal government should or would allow for that. The CCS magic dock experiment is likely to trickle to a stop given all the manufacturers switching to NACS. If they don’t open it up to all vehicles it’s just a walled garden with premium access.
2023 i4 eDrive35. Just picked it up about 3 weeks ago. Loving the EV transition. Haven’t had a chance to take decent pics yet, enjoy a front end shot from the parking garage!
Before that I had a 1995 325is until early 2018. Loved this one more than anything
Voyager, absolutely.
We’ve had that dry smoky air trapped over us for a while. Bugs love clean humid air so the summer insects haven’t been able to really thrive yet. Now that the smoke has moved out and the jet stream has once again changed we are getting a collision of moist warm air from the gulf colliding with cooler air making a relatively straight line over the Midwest. Perfect recipe for insect proliferation.
I have a lot of favorites that you can find on the east side.
- Coffee Emporium
- Mom n Em
- Madison Place (some say it’s cult-run)
- Red Tree
- Deeper Roots
Managed to get an invite to a decent private tracker with a great selection. Ever since the downfall of RARBG I’ve basically been 90% private for most of my stuff. I relied very heavily on it. Like someone else said, public occasionally has things the private ones don’t. Private trackers may integrate public items into their communities.
Hmm. Sounds a lot like something /u/spez said. I wouldn’t expect Twitter to be a good LLM source with its current state anyway…Reddit would be a lot better contextually. The reality is Reddit and Twitter are bleeding cash and they’ve got brain-rotted CEOs that don’t pay their bills or have unrealistic plans and timelines for profitability.
Awesome. Ate breakfast at a cafe yesterday that had these in a deep blue color. I like the thumb rest on top so I might get a few.
