We poured hot tar and feather on the British when they raised taxes to pay for the war in which we were being defended. What part of our history is “non-violent”

I would argue any good faith fictional novel is in and of itself an expression of a philosophy held by the author. The words and phrases one chooses to describe the scenery, characters, and plot come from their experiences of the world. The themes that appear can be regarded as the author’s philosophical approach to the situations. By good faith I mean a novel written with the intent of communicating a story or idea, not one written out of pure intent to profit.

Consider the, now somewhat cliche, author George Orwell. Though not a philosopher by trade, the collective themes of his novels revolve around the causes and effects of totalitarianism (a political philosophy). Yet clearly the presentation of his works is not in an objective manner, he is not presenting mere facts about totalitarian regimes. He uses a strong negative connotation, and uses the idea it is something to be avoided. This implies a political philosophy of anti-totalitarianism. I think you could make a similar argument for modern popular author’s like John Green.

Growing up in the early 2000s I always borrowed CDs from the library and learned how to burn them on my own CDs.

Some people never get to experience the joys of squinting into a screen 4 inches away from your nose to inspect a long ass command. It’s the simple things in life

It kind of just happened by word of mouth from family to their friends etc. I’ve always been good with computers and my family kind just saw my abilities when they needed help. I did get lucky because I got an internship in high school repairing computers. Some general tips

  1. Always make sure things that should be plugged in, are

  2. Always try to turning it off and back on if you can

  3. Ask before you do

  4. Don’t do if you don’t know, even if they beg you

  5. Make sure you can trust the people you work with, especially since you’ll probably be uninsured when you’re doing this work for at least the first few months. Until you get enough clients to help you decide if it’s something you want to invest in
