VAR is a joke. If it's not obvious then just give it. Why spend ten minutes tying to search for an offside toe? Ridiculous.

Well so far it seems a little better than the Fulham game. But Rashford is still a ghost. It shows how much he is not a number 9, he can't do the dirty work, the hold up play etc, and you can see him getting frustrated again. The circle of life continues. Bring on Maino, for Rashford, stick Mctominay up front. It's not a great solution either but you can already see him doing that job anyway and Maino would give us better build up play.
This is disappointing, Hoilund is a big miss but I think the majority of the problem is because we are missing Shaw. He has such a massive impact on the team. For one, Rashford just doesn't work without Shaw backing him up, overlapping giving him options and encouragement.
I think it certainly helps that his team mates finally noticed his presence. For ages it was like they didn't even know he was there, now they are actually passing to him he is getting chances.
I would have loved to have been in the dressing room that one day mid season when Rashford gingerly leant over to Bruno and asked, "Hey who is that blond guy over there, has he always been here"?
Decent away win against a decent side. Dalot had a great game, he is looking really good recently, he is playing really positive and determined, both at the back and going forward. Can we go on an extended run now? Maybe even get into a positive goal difference!

One of the things they do that really drives me nuts is when they dig up a junction with road markings, when they tarmac over the bit they dug up they then repaint the white lines, but ONLY on the tiny strip they dug up, leaving the rest of the old faded lines with just one patch of bright white paint on it. Looks ridiculous. Seriously they can't repaint the entire line!?
I'm stuck listening to this on radio today. Someone let me know how the team is in terms of formation. Is Bruno playing ahead of Mctominay. Would be good to see him setting up a few chances for Mctominay to run into. Think they could combine well, rather than Bruno trying to score long range worldys.
