You should give it another go now then. Gaming on Linux is very good nowadays with many games supporting the OS directly (even more now thanks to SteamDeck) and there are many ways to run even games that don't. Also, there is a lot of Linux distributions that are extremely easy to setup and maintain.

How's your experience on lobste.rs? I am on quite a few of these platforms at the moment, trying to see which one I like the most, not sure if I want to add another one to the mix, but I like the minimal layout

I am interested in this too. As far as I know, you don't store images or videos, so that should help keep it light. I can't image the requirements for storing a database and text to be high but I am no server admin.
