I don’t understand why you’d move him unless it’s for a more versatile player. One bad series against the Knicks, and suddenly everyone was on the train for shipping him out of town, when it should be Bickerstaff exiting.

Unless you want to play Mobley at center or find someone that can shoot from range and/or pass more effectively, it seems silly to move on from him, creating another hole in the roster.

Agree with you there. I think it’s a short sighted move to trade him. There is a glaring deficit at the SF position, but I think that would just trade one roster hole for another. I think we should see what this young team is capable of with another season under their belt.
