If you are using the format !community@instance
it should trigger a instance Federation if we are not already federated and then sync the community.

I was actually surprised to find out that we’re federated with exploding-heads. Most instances will just immediately defederate from them.

Honestly, the biggest problems are not those "heated" instances (currently) it's random instances that get new users signing up and then those users end up spamming random communities with spam.
I then have to deal with all the reports from them.
