KVUE digs deep into the archives to bring you a look back at the news stories, reporters and even the commercials from Christmas of 1989.

This appeared on KVUE's Youtube channel last year and I thought it would be good to share with fellow Austinites! It's called "Capitol Christmas". it's a special Christmas Eve broadcast which aired on December 24, 1989 featuring Ron Oliveira, Judy Maggio, Troy Kimmel, Hugh Lewis, and the late Dick Ellis. It's about 30 mins with vintage commercials (I think in the regular news slot), showing various clips of how Austin spent the season back then. Merry x-mas, y'all!
