You have to long press on the message near the user name. That will bring up an extra menu underneath the comment. You then click the chain link icon and it'll take you to the comment.
It's for sure not a good implementation of the feature, but it is there. I would like to be able to tap the comment from my inbox and have it take me there.

An update just dropped, always showing the control panel. There's also a link directly to the comment.
