It's got "fake dating" and "grumpy/sunshine" tropes and does so much more with them than I'm used to seeing.
Also, I forgot to mention that both characters are Black, and Hollywood actors.

@willaful @romancelandia @romancebooks My local bookclub just read “Attachments” by Rainbow Rowell. One of the most unromantic romances novels I have ever read. It’s got an interesting premise (IT guy falls for a colleague after reading all her emails that keep getting flagged) but the FMC had few redeeming qualities (literally a stalker who had a live-in boyfriend for most of the book) and it went off the rails.
@PamelaMcMuffin Awww, I'm sorry you didn't like it. It's a big favorite of mine. I like seeing people like my husband and friends in books and it doesn't happen that often. (Not stalkers! Geeks. ;-) ) @romancelandia @romancebooks
@willaful @romancelandia @romancebooks I loved Lincoln, the MMC. I’m a Computer Engineer and I’m the only person in my book club who wasn’t calling him a loser. I was just hoping he’d end up with someone else. 😀
Beth (the FMC) completely lost me when she told her friend that she was partially at fault for her miscarriage.
@willaful @romancelandia @romancebooks really enjoyed the unconventional romance that was Stars in Your Eyes!! Glad you loved it too!
I'm reading nothing! Sad but true. Ah well.
