I wish I actually played the Bass so I could contribute more.

I did used to play the baritone saxophone so I have an affinity for lower frequency instruments and riffs.

One of my favorite bass lines is from Longview by Green Day. Idk if it's any good by bass player standards, but I think it rocks.

Hey, it's never too late to get started! :-)

Sax is amazing, but they are SO loud! Did you play in an orchestra? What's good or not is subjective anyway, but I for my part like anything that complements the song, and Green Day for sure does have a nice groove there.

Yup, I did play in an orchestra. A lot of times the bass line gets lost in the music, with the saxophone you don't have to worry about that 😅

I'll probably post songs where I like the bass line from time to time. And hey, maybe I will learn the bass. You never know...
