Sometimes, for a limited time, but so does AMD. But I don't think it ever happens with CPUs.

I got Jedi Survivor with my 7900X, so it's not the first time they've given away a game with their CPU

Nice. This usually makes it easy to buy a copy for cheaper from someone who doesn’t want it at launch.

Although I used to do that on Reddit.. Probably nothing like SteamGameSwap on Lemmy just yet.

I'm sure it'll pop up soon. Swap subreddits were maintained with Heatware anyways, a lot of that was done as a third party thing. I'm assuming the API changes are fucking up swap subreddits a bit

This is actually the reason I'm more keen to upgrade from my 3700x to a 5800X3D than going all the way up to current gen.
