Can you explain how to block a community? I can't figure that out.

A loosely moderated place to ask open-ended questions
If your post meets the following criteria, it's welcome here!
- Open-ended question
- Not offensive: at this point, we do not have the bandwidth to moderate overtly political discussions. Assume best intent and be excellent to each other.
- Not regarding using or support for Lemmy: context, see the list of support communities and tools for finding communities below
- Not ad nauseam inducing: please make sure it is a question that would be new to most members
- An actual topic of discussion

I had to do it on the web interface. Go to the community and there should be an option to block it in the sidebar.
Thank you so much!!!! You were very helpful!
Blocking from wefwef should be coming soon, someone uploaded code for it five hours ago and it is awaiting review by the wefwef developer.
I don’t think lemmyworld has the ability to block communities unfortunately for me 😩
I think I’m you can, on mobile, if you go to the community’s and age (three dots top left) and just under there icon is a ‘no entry’ sign. You can tap that to stop seeing that content. Not sure about desktop.
