I'm doing co-op with my spouse, and we're opting to nearly complete every Altar of Lilith, side mission, and explore every area before moving the story along. As a result, we're both level 56+ and are easily taking out most everything on World Level 2.

Are you folks doing something similar? Or just going straight to the main story/quest without detours?

I concentrated more on the main quests and only did a few side quests. Now that I've finished the main story, I'm working my way through all the side quests.

My feelings about the Altars of Lilith are a bit mixed. I like that they are rewards for exploration. But as you are forced to find them all for permanent stat upgrades, it is a chore.

I've completed the campaign and now am on WL3 midway completing all sidequests at level 59. The thing I am doing os avoiding guides completely so the build for my druid is home made, I don’t know the locations of half the altars of Lilith and overall try to avoid icy-veins and similars.

Once I finish the rep grind I will make all the dungeons for necro and common legendary aspects; thats the class I will roll for the first season

Same way on how I'm playing this game. Discovery on my own. IMO, feels better like this, call it casual or whatever.
