Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Pretty much as title says, I upgraded to Jerboa 0.0.37 today from F-Droid. I'm using a Fairphone 3 with /e/OS with Android 9. I'm not sure if the error message is an issue on Jerboa's side of things or if its's my instance which is lemmy.ml .As is, my posts don't show up in Jerboa or even using lemmy.ml in the browser on my laptop.

I also get an error message popup while scrolling that just says 'Network Error', which seems to undo something I have upvoted further up in my feed.

Not trying to complain or anything btw, I know Jerboa and Lemmy in general is Free Open Source Software. If I had the know how, I would love to contribute, but for now, I just thought I'd discuss any issues I'm having so that they might be addressed at some point.

Lemmy.ml has been messed up for over 24 hours now. Server is overloaded HARD. I can barely use the website, can't mark messages as read, have to refresh everything 10+ times for it to load, and https://isup.me shows lemmy.ml as down.

I've been getting a SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data error when trying to upload an avatar, both on Jerboa and my browser. Thought I'd mention this here in case any one else was experiencing a similar issue.
