This is a deal I don’t mind. Good circuit.

I was about to post those exact words, hah. I'm never too excited about Spielberg but it's definitely not bad by any means. I wouldn't mourn it's loss, but I'd much rather keep it than some of the stinkers on the calendar. Though I have some unpopular opinions about certain tracks, I think.

Real circuit, beautiful scenery and GP history. I’m happy about it sticking around. Especially because my bold prediction is that places like Miami are not going to last.

I'd say Miami will last. While hardcore fans may disagree, it has helped create a lot of new fans, equating to a lot more money.

The last thing the FIA cares about right now is heritage

Hot take but I don't even hate Miami as a track. Is it great? No. But it's not worse than a 6/10. There are multiple heritage tracks that produce worse racing.

I agree. It's not the best racetrack, but it consistently produces better racing than nearly every street circuit. Any true racetrack that gets a long term spot on the calendar is great news in my opinion.

To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing the back of Zandvoort and Mexico. I know they're both proper circuits and the drivers love going round Zandvoort, but neither has produced good viewing in a long time.

And this might be controversial but, when was the last time we had a banger dry race at Imola?

With how tight and unpredictable the midfield has been this is fantastic news.

Good! Austria is probably one of my favourite tracks, I think it's usually produced some good races!

Great news. It's a fantastic racetrack and this weekend further proves it deserves to be a mainstay on the calendar.

Do you think they'll continue to host sprint races here?

I kind of enjoy sprint weekends with the new format, especially when they do it at dedicated racetracks like Austria.
