But at least I discovered the joy of what it was to be a part of the reddit community, even if for just a year.

Welcome, Apollo friend! This community is young, but just as accepting. I hope you quickly feel as much a part of it as you did with Reddit. Thanks for posting and driving more active engagement. It goes a long way. :)

Thank you 😊 The native apollo-esque feel of lemmy definitely helps in keeping me at home. I’m excited to see how the fediverse grows as more and more users becomes more disillusioned with mainstream centralized social media.

Check out wefwef. It feels eerily similar to Apollo, albeit still a little buggy. It’s a web app.

Just checked it out and my goodness, you are so right. I was a bit disheartened when I saw no app for lemmy in the AppStore (iOS life, sadly) but thank you for your suggestion! :)

Add it to your homepage as a shortcut, and it’ll behave as its own app (kinda). Glad it’ll work well for you!

Thank you so much! I’m still exploring lemmy and being familiar with it. Here’s to hoping a real native app will soon pop up in the app store. :)
