So, that's...a lot. Guess we're not just tanking?

It seems now like dumping Duchene and Ryjo were less about tanking and more about culture and leadership change.

I love the O’Reilly signing. He’s a Cup winner and a great leader. If Trotz wants a culture change, he’s the type of guy to get. Schenn and Nyquist I’m less enthused about… I know the whole team can’t be kids though. I’m just gonna try to sit back and let Trotz work.

Really feels like we’re headed straight for a middle of the pack finish again though doesn’t it?

It does. Burnette is a big x-factor though. Does Forsberg light up shopping with O'Reilly under his leadership. Do the kids develop quickly? Pieces might be there for something stronger. Also, it is just July 2

We were never going to tank with Saros in net. The man simply wouldn't allow it. All the UFAs are proven winners and exactly the type of players Trotz would love to coach. Carrier and Glass getting a bridge deal to show they're worth it. Sure we'll probably be middle of the pack again and most likely sell at the deadline for more assets. I'd much rather the young guys get the experience on a competitive team rather than getting crushed every other night. This team should be fun to watch
