Do we all also have toyota corollas and $300k salaries here too?
AusFinance
And when exactly are we predicting property values will fall by 50%?
Seriously though, I hope this community thrives!
Maybe if the interest rate rises another 5%?
Oh dear. We definitely don't want that guy here.
Can we blame it on boomers?
Does a Nissan Micra count?
I have a Corolla! No 300k though :(
You betcha
Same here! Even though it's not super busy right now, I'm grateful we have a home in place as the number of Aussie users increases here over time.
My reddit was basically Ausfinance and ahem. Be nice if this place becomes Ausfinance pre-2020 style.
Agree with this. The old sub seemed to have a massive influx of users from /r/Australia which decreased the overall quality of discussion i feel.
Lock downs brought a lot of new members, but I think the catalyst was the GME saga. Don't quote me, but I feel like it was that period that saw exponential increase in users and a subsequent shift in quality.
what was the old direction? i think i joined reddit prior to 2020 but only discovered the sub much later

Not financial advice, dyor galah
The challenge will be to try keep engagement going over the coming months and build on the number of people who come and post / comment.
I know I do!
